What you’d write
Paste the product page and write the threshold into your description. Most shops publish price and availability as structured data, which is exactly the kind of thing SurveiLN reads well.
shop.example.com/…/lens“Tell me if this lens falls below $600”
You get: “Price is now $549.” — checked against your number each time.
Ignored: the review count ticking up and the “customers also bought” row.
store.example.com/board-game“Let me know when this is available again”
You get: “Back in stock.” once the page stops saying otherwise.
Ignored: the delivery-estimate text changing by a day.
shop.example.com/jacket“Alert me when it goes on sale in medium”
You get: The change matching that description, not every price on the page.
Ignored: other sizes and colours changing price.
How often it checks
Every 3 hours on Power, every 6 on Pro, once a day on Free. That comfortably catches an ordinary markdown, a seasonal sale or a reprint — the kind that runs for days.
Free checks once a day at a time you pick, Pro every 6 hours, Power every 3. See the plans →
The honest ceiling
- A limited drop — a GPU, a sneaker release, concert tickets — is gone long before the next check. No plan changes that, and no wording on this page should suggest otherwise.
- The fastest check is every 3 hours. If you need the alert inside a minute, SurveiLN is the wrong tool.
- Some retailers block automated visitors entirely. When that happens the dashboard says so rather than reporting no change.
